The Museum and Apache Café will be CLOSED on Saturday 5th October and Friday 18th October. We will be rescheduling the Living History Saturday with Wiltshire Home Guard. We're sorry for any inconvenience caused.

40th Anniversary Silent Auction

Your bids will help support the Museum care for and grow our nationally significant collection, but will also ensure that our story can be told to future generations. The auction will go live at 6pm on Thursday 26th September and close at 10pm on Friday 11th October.

“Great museum to visit for all ages. Plenty to see and do, with plenty of planes and helicopters. All placed in a logical order and displays well thought out. The cafe was reasonably priced with a good selection of food and drinks. Good parking facilities as well.”

The Museum holds an extensive collection charting over 100 years of the British Army in the air. With over 35 fixed wing and rotary aircraft on display, the Museum is the perfect place to explore the fascinating history of British Army aviation.

The Collections

Beginning in 1878 and continuing through to today, the collections cover the five main branches of Army Aviation: the Royal Engineers, the Royal Flying Corps, the Glider Pilot Regiment, Air Observation Post Squadrons, and the current Army Air Corps.
